Weddings are a speciality of Highsteppers.
Our beautiful glass fronted Landau carriage can be used open topped or covered. The carriage can be drawn by a pair (2) or a team (4) of horses. This is the ultimate way to arrive at your wedding venue in style.
To complete the picture, driver and groom dress in the traditional livery costume associated with the horse drawn carriage, and will ensure that you reach the church on time.
After the service your horse and carriage can drive you to your reception venue. The sedate pace of the journey will really give you time to reflect and relax . You will arrive ready to enjoy the rest of your big day.

Birthday & Special Occasion Drives

To celebrate a Birthday, Anniversary, Retirement or any special occasion let us take you for a carriage drive around our beautiful local area right in the heart of Thomas Hardy's Dorset with a single, pair or team of horses. We are also happy to discuss drives in your local area. Whatever the route, you will be treating your loved ones to a unique gift that will be remembered forever.  

Film & Drama

Highsteppers horses, carriage and driver are all available for film and drama work. Our stunning Chestnut Dutch Gelderlander horses are already stars of the big screen! They have rubbed shoulders with the stars, appearing in period productions such as Pride & Prejudice, Mrs. Brown, Vanity Fair and Sense & Sensibility.

Driving Tuition

Highsteppers also give tuition in driving a single, pair or team of horses/ponies, using its own or the clients' animals. Horses and ponies can be broken to harness with livery included.
